  1. The initial purpose was if possible to retain the characteristic Westmorland House frontage of this building. In my opinion option 2 will achieve this and provide much needed affordable and rentable housing accommodation. minimal car parking space is offered with some open communal space, the courtyard and public square within the complex for residents to walk through or just sit a while.
